Public Works Department Responsibilities
The Public Works Department performs custodial duties and maintenance on township facilities and grounds and cleans walls, floors, ceilings, windows, fixtures in all township buildings.
Paints where necessary to maintain the appearance of buildings, fixtures and equipment.
Mows grass, rakes, seeds, does brushing as required. Plows snow and otherwise keeps walkways in a safe condition and performs maintenance and repairs on all equipment. Acts as Sexton for the Oakwood Cemetery.
